How hard is it to cancel Zendesk?
Zendesk scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), phone.
Self-service account owners can cancel online via Admin Center (Account > Billing > Subscription > Manage > Remove products or cancel account); sales-assisted/managed accounts must contact Zendesk Sales directly by phone or account rep. A 30-day advance notice is required before the end of the subscription term; for self-service customers, notice is deemed given at the moment of in-app cancellation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and Zendesk explicitly offers no refunds or credits for subscription charges or unused time. Account data is deleted after cancellation per Zendesk's Service Data Deletion Policy.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
