YouTube Music Premium can be cancelled online at youtube.com/paid_memberships or through the Android/iOS app at any time; Apple-billed subscribers must cancel through their Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, benefits continue until then and no further charges apply. No refund is issued for the remaining unused days of the current billing cycle; refunds are only considered if content/features did not work as expected. Monthly-plan subscribers (except Apple-billed) can pause for 1-6 months instead of cancelling outright.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
