How hard is it to cancel Youfoodz?
Youfoodz scores 59/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the AU — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), phone.
Youfoodz subscribers can cancel online through their account settings or by phone (13 MEAL / 13 6325, 7am–9pm AEST daily), provided the change is made before the personalised weekly order cut-off shown in the account dashboard. A pause option exists as per-week skips through the same account interface. Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 14 days. Note: In December 2025 the ACCC filed Federal Court proceedings alleging that online cancellation did not actually prevent first-delivery charges for 39,408 customers between October 2022 and November 2024, and that the true cancellation method for first orders was a phone call to customer service — a requirement not disclosed at signup or in cancellation instructions.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
