How hard is it to cancel Windscribe?
Windscribe scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US, a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Windscribe subscriptions are cancelled online through the Billing section of the user's account dashboard (windscribe.com/myaccount): click 'Manage Subscriptions', then 'Cancel Subscription', confirm and supply a reason. Cancellation stops auto-renewal immediately but access continues through the remainder of the paid billing period (no early termination). Refunds are limited to the initial purchase only, within 7 days and with fewer than 10 GB of data used on the paid plan; renewals are explicitly non-refundable. Refund requests must be initiated via the Garry support chatbot or a support ticket, no self-serve refund button exists.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
