How hard is it to cancel Whop?
Whop scores 77/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app.
Whop subscribers can cancel online via Profile > Orders on desktop or via the mobile app by selecting Manage Orders, then Cancel membership — a fully self-serve multi-step flow. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and users must cancel before their renewal date to avoid the next charge. Refunds for the current period are governed by the individual seller's refund policy, not Whop's platform policy, though Whop will process reversals within 3–5 business days if a seller approves one. EU/EEA/UK consumers retain a 14-day withdrawal right for purchases that have not yet been accessed.
How to cancel Whop
- Channels: online (self-serve), in-app
- Official cancellation page: https://docs.whop.com/memberships-and-access/cancellations-and-refunds/cancel-a-subscription
- Pause/freeze: not offered. Pause/resume membership exists as an API-level feature for sellers to manage memberships, but there is no documented self-serve consumer-facing UI to pause a subscription. Cancellation ends access at the current period end.
- Refund policy: https://docs.whop.com/memberships-and-access/cancellations-and-refunds/cancel-a-subscription
- Account/data deletion: Account deletion is self-serve via Account Settings > Danger Zone > Delete account (requires typing 'delete' to confirm). All memberships must be cancelled first. CCPA/GDPR deletion requests can also be submitted by emailing [email protected]. https://docs.whop.com/account-settings/account-security/delete-your-account

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
