How hard is it to cancel WeightWatchers?

WeightWatchers members in the US can cancel their subscription online at weightwatchers.com/us/cancellation, or by phone at 1-800-651-6000; app-store subscribers must cancel through their respective app store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (monthly plans) or commitment period (multi-month plans). Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins, with limited exceptions for medical reasons, relocation, or a state-mandated 3-day cancellation window on initial purchase. No membership pause or hold feature is offered. Re-verified 2026-07-20 against the membership terms, which add two material facts: cancellation is processed on a stated timeline - 'We will attempt to process all cancellation requests within 72 hours after we receive your request' - and a long-term commitment plan does not stop when you cancel: 'cancellation will take effect at the end of your then-current subscription period, or in the case of a long-term commitment plan, at the end of the commitment plan period'. Fees are not refundable once a period has started, with enumerated exceptions for medical reasons, relocation beyond 15 miles from a Workshop, Workshop closure, non-breach termination by WW, and state-mandated cooling-off periods.
