Wavve scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the KR — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app, phone, email.

Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Wavve subscriptions can be cancelled self-serve online (PC: MY > 이용권 > 자동결제 해지) or via the mobile app (MY > 나의 이용권 > 자동결제 해지); phone (1599-3709) and a 1:1 inquiry form are also available. Cancellation stops auto-renewal from the next billing date, and the paid period remains accessible until it expires — there is no immediate termination. A full refund (청약 철회) is available within 7 days of purchase if no content has been viewed; after use, refunds are calculated on a prorated daily basis with a 10% administrative fee deducted for user-initiated refunds, and the company must issue the refund within 3 business days via the original payment method. Telecom-bundled subscriptions (SKT, KT, LG) must be cancelled through the respective carrier.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
