How hard is it to cancel Udacity?
Udacity scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Udacity subscriptions are cancelled entirely online via Account Settings > Subscription > Cancel, with no phone or email cancellation channel documented. There is no mandatory notice period, but Udacity recommends cancelling a few days before the next billing date; access continues until the end of the current paid period. A full refund is available only within the first 7 days of the initial subscription month (14 days for EU customers); subsequent auto-renewal months carry no refund eligibility. After the refund window, cancellation stops future charges but no partial/pro-rated refund is issued.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
