How hard is it to cancel Turkcell?

Turkcell scores 47/100 (grade D) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the TR — a poorly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via phone, in person, in-app, email, postal mail.

Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade D

Turkcell subscribers can cancel their line by calling 532, visiting a Turkcell Communication Centre in person, using the Turkcell mobile app (Help > Document Requests > Line Cancellation), emailing [email protected] with a copy of their ID from their registered address, or via Turkey's e-Government portal (turkiye.gov.tr). No self-serve one-click online cancellation exists; in-person or phone confirmation is standard. Subscribers on 12-month commitment campaigns who cancel early face a penalty equal to either the total discounts received or the remaining undiscounted monthly fees—whichever is lower. Unused monthly allowances (minutes, SMS, data) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
