How hard is it to cancel turbopuffer?
turbopuffer scores 28/100 (grade F) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — an opaque or largely undisclosed cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via email.
Turbopuffer has no publicly documented self-serve cancellation flow. Cancellation must be initiated via email/support contact (contact/support page or dashboard Help). The Terms of Service (Section 9.2) state either party may terminate the agreement if the other fails to cure a material breach within 30 days of notice, ceases operations, or seeks bankruptcy protection. Upon termination, Customer access and turbopuffer's service obligations cease, and customer data is deleted from active systems. All fees are explicitly non-refundable except for pre-paid unused fees in the narrow case of an IP infringement-related termination. Minimum monthly commitments apply across all plans ($64 Launch, $256 Scale, $4,096+ Enterprise), so there is effectively a financial minimum even in the last billing period. No pause/freeze option exists.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
