How hard is it to cancel Trifecta?

Trifecta scores 66/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via phone, email, online (self-serve).

Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade C

Trifecta requires cancellation via phone ((530) 564-8388), email ([email protected]), or live chat (8 AM–5 PM PT, 7 days/week) — there is no self-service cancel button online, only skipping. Cancellation must be submitted before Friday 11:59 PM PT the week prior to the next scheduled delivery; if the cutoff passes, that order ships but no further charges occur. A full refund (up to 7 meals or $119) is available only on the first order if requested within 10 days of receipt; subsequent orders receive case-by-case credits for damaged/missing/incorrect items. No minimum commitment and no cancellation fee.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
