How hard is it to cancel Todoist?
Todoist scores 80/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Todoist Pro and Business subscriptions can be cancelled entirely online via Settings > Subscription > Cancel plan on the web or desktop app (not mobile). Monthly plans are non-refundable and remain active through the end of the billing period. Yearly plans cancelled within 30 days of purchase or renewal qualify for a full refund, which can be initiated immediately in-app (for card payments) or by contacting support (for Business or third-party platform purchases like Apple/Google/Microsoft). Outside the 30-day window, no refund is given and access continues until the current period ends.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
