TIM customers can cancel via phone (187 for fixed, 119 for mobile), through the MyTIM online account area (multi-step, not a single-click button), at authorized TIM stores, by registered letter to Casella Postale 111, 00054 Fiumicino (RM), or by PEC email to [email protected]. The notice period is 30 days for broadband/internet services and 15 days for voice-only fixed lines; cancellation takes effect no later than 30 days from receipt of the request. A deactivation fee of approximately €25–€30 applies for fixed-line termination if cancelled within the contract term (12 or 24 months); for migrations to another operator the fee is €0; mobile contract cancellations incur approximately €5. Under Italian consumer law (Codice del Consumo) and the EU Electronic Communications Code, customers may withdraw without penalty within 30 days when TIM unilaterally modifies contract conditions, and a 14-day right of withdrawal (ripensamento) applies to contracts concluded remotely or off-premises.
