How hard is it to cancel Tiller?
Tiller scores 80/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email.
Subscribers cancel online by signing into the Tiller Console (my.tiller.com), navigating to Subscription in the account menu, and clicking 'Cancel subscription'; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle (or trial period if within 30 days). Refunds are not automatic — users must email [email protected] to request one, and Tiller advertises a satisfaction-based money-back guarantee ('contact support anytime for a full refund'). No pause or freeze option exists. After cancellation, the account and all associated financial data are permanently deleted from Tiller's systems after 90 days, though data already exported to Google Sheets or Excel remains in the user's own drive.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
