How hard is it to cancel Tigo?

Tigo Colombia allows cancellation via the Mi Tigo website/app, by calling #503 (sales line), or in person at a Tigo store; no permanence clause applies to most plans. Requests must be submitted at least 3 business days before the billing cut-off date; if submitted with fewer than 3 business days' notice, cancellation takes effect at the end of the following billing period. For fixed services with a 12-month minimum commitment, an early-termination charge applies proportional to the remaining months. Equipment provided on loan (modem/decoder) must be returned to a store or via a scheduled pickup at no cost.

- Pause/freeze: available — Voluntary temporary suspension of mobile lines is available for up to 2 months (60 days) per year (consecutive or split). During suspension, basic plan charges are eliminated. Request via WhatsApp or at a Tigo store. Fixed-service suspension is also available per a separate help article.
- Account/data deletion: Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012), customers may request suppression of personal data by contacting Colombia Móvil S.A. E.S.P. directly (Av. Calle 26 No. 92-32, Bogotá; tel. 4435000) or via tigo.com.co.
