Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade C

The League subscriptions can be cancelled through the Apple App Store or Google Play (for mobile purchases), or through the account section of the website/app for direct purchases; email support at [email protected] is also available. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no proration — all purchases are generally final and non-refundable. A 3-business-day full refund window applies in select US states (AZ, CA, CO, CT, IL, IA, MN, NY, NC, OH, RI, WI); EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland users get 14 days. Importantly, cancelling a subscription does not delete your profile — account deletion must be done separately.

How to cancel The League

  • Channels: in-app, online (self-serve), email
  • Official cancellation page: https://www.theleague.com/terms-of-service-en/
  • Pause/freeze: available — Subscription pause (hold) is available for up to one year, but only for New York state subscribers who submit written notice.
  • Account/data deletion: Users can delete their account at any time by logging in, going to 'Help', clicking 'Delete Account', and confirming; this removes photos and chat history. Alternatively, accounts can be disabled (hidden but not deleted) for later reactivation. Cancelling a subscription does not remove the profile — account deletion is a separate step. Data is retained only for limited purposes after deletion per the Privacy Policy. https://www.theleague.com/faqs-en/

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
