How hard is it to cancel The Atlantic?

The Atlantic allows cancellation either online by managing subscription preferences in the account, or by emailing the Customer Care team. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Documentation indicates subscribers can cancel at any time and, in many cases, receive a refund for the remaining (prorated) portion of the subscription, issued to the original payment method within roughly 3-5 business days; access otherwise continues through the end of the current billing cycle. App-store subscriptions are cancelled via Apple or Google. As a US outlet, the UK/EU 14-day statutory cooling-off does not apply.
