Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade C

Telenor Norway customers can cancel mobile subscriptions via the Telmi chatbot (requires Telenor ID + BankID authentication), by phone at 915 09 000, or in person at Telenor stores and authorised retailers (Power, Elkjøp); broadband and TV cancellations use a dedicated online submission form or the same phone/store channels. The notice period is one calendar month calculated from the first day of the month following the cancellation notice (e.g. notice in June means service ends 31 July); wireless broadband ends at the end of the current month. Any amounts already invoiced beyond the notice period are refunded. Cancelling during a binding period (up to 12 months, exceptionally 24 months) triggers a final settlement covering the outstanding economic benefit (e.g. subsidised device cost) plus a possible administration fee; consumers also hold a no-penalty exit right if Telenor raises prices or materially changes terms.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
