How hard is it to cancel TCS – Touring Club Schweiz?

TCS membership can only be cancelled in writing (schriftlich) by post or email to a TCS section/contact point; there is no online self-serve cancellation button. The notice period is three months before the end of the annual membership, and withdrawal (Austritt) takes effect at the end of the membership year per the statutes. The TCS FAQ states 'Eine Kündigung muss schriftlich (per Post oder per Mail) bei einer unserer Kontaktstellen erfolgen.' No refund of unused membership fee is stated. Membership continues into the next year if not cancelled within the deadline.
