How hard is it to cancel Taskade?
Taskade scores 77/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app.
Taskade subscriptions can be cancelled self-serve online via Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription > Cancel Plan, or through the App Store / Google Play for mobile purchases. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; the workspace then reverts to the Free plan with all data preserved. Refunds are not automatic — requests must be submitted to support within 14 days of charge and are reviewed case-by-case; prorated refunds may be available for annual plans cancelled mid-cycle. A plan pause option also exists on desktop through the same billing settings.
How to cancel Taskade
- Channels: online (self-serve), in-app
- Official cancellation page: https://help.taskade.com/en/articles/8958630-manage-paid-subscription
- Pause/freeze: available — Taskade offers a plan pause option accessible via Settings > Billing > Change Payment > 'Cancel or pause your plan' on desktop. No additional details about pause duration or limits are documented.
- Account/data deletion: Account closure is self-serve via Settings > Close Account (enter email to confirm). Deletion is immediate, permanent, and irreversible. However, if you only cancel (not close the account), all projects, agents, automations, files, and workspace structure are preserved indefinitely on the Free tier — nothing is deleted. https://help.taskade.com/en/articles/8958673-how-do-i-close-my-taskade-account

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
