How hard is it to cancel Submagic?
Submagic scores 78/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the FR — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Submagic cancellation is done online by going to the profile (top-left), selecting 'Go To Stripe Portal', then clicking 'Cancel Subscription'. Users can alternatively pause their subscription for a few months, after which it renews as normal when resumed. The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle and no refunds are issued for unused time. Under the Terms of Use, consumers (individuals not acting professionally) have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription, unless the service has already been fully performed with the consumer's express prior consent before that period expires.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
