How hard is it to cancel StarHub?
StarHub scores 64/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the SG, a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via in-app, phone, online (self-serve), in person.
Mobile contract-free plans (5G Unlimited+, Star Plan, etc.) can be cancelled self-serve in the StarHub app under More > Cancel line; contracted mobile or Digital Voice plans require contacting StarHub via Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp. Broadband and TV terminations must be initiated via the HubCare hotline (1633) or in-person at a StarHub shop, and router/set-top equipment must be returned. Terminations take effect same-day (mobile) or immediately upon completion (broadband/TV); early termination charges apply for cancellations within a contract term, calculated as net monthly fee × remaining months. Final billing with pro-rata adjustments is issued within 2 billing cycles, and any credit balance is refunded via PayNow after 2 months of account inactivity.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
