How hard is it to cancel Spendee?
Spendee scores 84/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the CZ, a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via app-store, play-store, online (self-serve).
Spendee Plus ($2.99/mo, $22.99/yr) and Premium subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play, with a 14-day free trial that requires payment info upfront. Spendee's help center explicitly states it cannot cancel for you: cancellation must be done in App Store subscription management (Settings > [name] > Subscriptions > Spendee > disable auto-renewal) or Google Play (My Apps > Subscriptions > Spendee > Cancel). Subscriptions auto-renew for another term of equal length unless cancelled before the current term ends; cancellation takes effect the day after the last day of the current period. Refunds for in-app purchases are generally not provided. The channel and notice timing are clearly disclosed in a dedicated, findable help article.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
