How hard is it to cancel Sophos Home?

Sophos Home scores 56/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email.

Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade C

Sophos Home subscriptions are billed through Cleverbridge (an independent reseller); to cancel, users must use Sophos's Purchase Lookup Tool to trigger a Cleverbridge management email, or contact Cleverbridge directly — there is no single-click cancel button in the Sophos dashboard. Cancellation stops future auto-renewal but does not refund the remaining term; however, Sophos offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for any reason from date of purchase. No notice period is required — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Beyond 30 days, all subscription payments are explicitly non-refundable.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
