Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Pro and Business plan subscribers can cancel self-service via Account > Plan & Billing Info in the web portal; Enterprise customers must contact their sales representative or the billing team directly. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the current term renews, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term — mid-term cancellations are not available. Smartsheet explicitly states that canceled accounts do not qualify for prorated refunds; all fees paid for a subscription period are non-refundable. After cancellation, sheets become read-only for 30 days and are permanently deleted thereafter.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
