Last reviewed 2026-06-16 · Documented-Policy tier · grade C

Smart Fit Brazil is cancelled in person at the reception of any branch in the network, taking effect immediately; the company explicitly does not cancel by phone or email. Online cancellation is only possible within the 7-day legal withdrawal period through the Espaco do Cliente customer portal. Cancellation generally requires 30 days' notice before the next billing date. The Fit and Black plans carry a 12-month loyalty term (fidelidade), and cancelling early incurs a 20% penalty on the remaining installments, while promotional plans have a 3-month minimum stay. Members who purchased online may cancel penalty-free within 7 days under the legal right of withdrawal.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
