How hard is it to cancel Sleep Cycle?
Sleep Cycle scores 68/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via in-app, online (self-serve).
Sleep Cycle Premium subscriptions are cancelled through the platform where they were purchased: iOS users go through Apple Settings > Subscriptions, Android users through Google Play > Payments & Subscriptions, and web subscribers log in at app.sleepcycle.com/account. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled solely by Apple; Google Play refunds are available within 48 hours; web subscribers must cancel first, then email [email protected] with their receipt. No subscription pause feature is offered.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
