Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Shudder subscriptions can be cancelled online at any time via shudder.com account settings (Account > Membership Settings > Cancel Membership); third-party subscribers (Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon) must cancel through that platform directly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no prorated refunds for unused time. An exception applies for direct subscribers only: refund requests submitted within 2 days of a monthly charge or 7 days of an annual charge may be honored via the support contact form. There are no contracts, commitments, or cancellation fees, and no pause/freeze option exists.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
