How hard is it to cancel Shortwave?

Shortwave subscriptions can be cancelled online at any time via Settings > Members & Billing by clicking 'Manage plan' and selecting 'Cancel plan'; paid features remain accessible through the end of the current billing period. Shortwave officially states payments are non-refundable, but in practice offers full refunds if requested within 14 days of payment by contacting [email protected]. No subscription pause option exists. Account and associated data can be deleted from within the app under Settings > Support.

How to cancel Shortwave

• Pause/freeze: not offered. No subscription pause or suspension option is offered. Users can downgrade to the free plan at any time, retaining paid features until the billing period ends.
• Account/data deletion: Users can delete their account from Settings > Support > Delete account on desktop or mobile (requires email confirmation). This removes Shortwave account data but does not affect messages stored in Gmail.
