Shortform subscriptions purchased directly can be cancelled anytime online via the in-account Billing page ('Click here to cancel' button) or by emailing [email protected]; App Store and Google Play purchases must be cancelled through those platforms. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, no immediate termination. Payments are explicitly non-refundable with no credits for partially used periods, though the company reserves discretion to offer exceptions. There is no pause or freeze option; cancelling a paid plan downgrades the account to a free tier.

  • Pause/freeze: not offered. No pause or freeze option is mentioned in Shortform's Terms of Service or help pages. Users can only cancel to downgrade to a free plan.
  • Account/data deletion: Account and all related data can be permanently deleted via Settings > 'Delete your account' inside the app. Deletion is irreversible and Shortform states it cannot recover any data after deletion. https://www.shortform.com/delete_account
