How hard is it to cancel Sentry?
Sentry scores 77/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Sentry subscriptions can only be cancelled online through account settings (Settings > Subscription under Usage & Billing); an email or phone request is explicitly not accepted as notice of cancellation. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current subscription term, after which the account reverts to the free Developer plan. No refunds or credits are issued for partial months, unused months, or mid-cycle cancellations — downgrades and cancellations are processed at the end of the contract cycle. Early termination is possible only by paying a lump sum equal to three months of upcoming subscription fees.

- Account/data deletion: Account closure is self-serve at sentry.io/settings/account/close-account/. After closure, the account is queued for deletion within 24 hours and fully deleted 30 days after the last login. Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
