RuneScape membership can be cancelled online at any time via the Jagex billing portal (secure.runescape.com/m=billing_core/unsubscribe.ws) or the in-game account management menu; subscriptions purchased through Apple, Google, or Steam must be cancelled through those platforms. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no proration, though membership benefits are retained until expiry. A 14-day statutory cooling-off period applies (EU/UK), but the right to cancel is forfeited immediately upon using membership (logging into a members-only world, redeeming virtual currency, or trading Bonds). No pause or subscription freeze feature exists.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
