How hard is it to cancel RTL+?
RTL+ scores 80/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the DE — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email, postal, app-store.
RTL+ paid subscriptions bought directly are cancelled self-serve on the RTL+ website by opening the profile, going to Konto, scrolling to Pakete and selecting Paket kuendigen; cancellation is not possible from the app. Cancellation can alternatively be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to RTL interactive GmbH, Picassoplatz 1, 50679 Koeln. A 30-day notice period applies regardless of submission date, with access continuing for those 30 days; there is no minimum contract term for the standard paid tiers. Subscriptions purchased via Apple, Amazon or Telekom/MagentaTV must be cancelled with those providers, and MagentaTV bundles carry their own 24-month term. German consumers retain the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
