How hard is it to cancel Rogers?

Rogers scores 48/100 (grade D) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the CA — a poorly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via phone.

Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade D

Rogers requires customers to cancel by phone only — there is no online self-serve cancellation; callers are routed through a retention flow where an agent discusses alternatives before processing the request. If cancelled mid-billing cycle, customers receive a prorated refund for prepaid monthly fees issued by cheque, typically within 4-6 weeks. Early cancellation fees apply for term contracts, and unreturned equipment charges may also apply. Phone plan suspension (pause) is available online via MyRogers for 30-185 days per calendar year.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
