How hard is it to cancel Red Pocket Mobile?
Red Pocket Mobile scores 98/100 (grade A) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — among the most clearly documented cancellation policies we've scored. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), phone.
Red Pocket is prepaid with no early-termination fee; to close a line you first complete the number transfer (porting out), then contact customer service to close the line, because transferring the number does not auto-cancel the account and closing first risks permanent loss of the number. To port out, log in at redpocket.com/my-lines, open 'Manage Number', disable the Port Out Blocker, and select 'Transfer This Number' to generate the account number and transfer PIN (CDMA lines must call in); transfers complete within minutes to 24 hours and the line must stay active. Prepaid service is generally non-refundable, but a plan can be returned within 7 days of receipt if usage stays under 250 min, 250 texts, or 1GB; shipping is non-refundable and devices carry a 20% restocking fee.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
