Last reviewed 2026-06-16 · Documented-Policy tier · grade C

To cancel personal RACV membership and emergency roadside assistance, members contact RACV directly (13 RACV / 13 72 28); insurance products can also be cancelled self-serve via the RACV App or online account dashboard using the 'Cancel product' button. For insurance, RACV refunds the unexpired (pro-rata) portion of any paid premium, less any cancellation processing fee and government charges it must retain by law. Cancelling all RACV products ends membership status, and re-joining later restarts at Blue Member tier (0-4 years). RACV Club membership is cancelled separately via 1300 501 501 or [email protected].

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
