How hard is it to cancel QuickBooks Online?
QuickBooks Online scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), phone.
QuickBooks Online can be cancelled online via Settings > Subscriptions and Billing inside the product, or through the Intuit Account Manager; mobile-app subscribers must cancel through their respective app store. Cancellation for monthly plans takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no prorated refund. Annual subscribers are eligible for a refund under a satisfaction guarantee if cancelled within 60 days of purchase; monthly subscribers are not eligible for refunds. After cancellation, read-only data access is retained for 12 months before automatic deletion.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
