How hard is it to cancel Pure Barre?

Pure Barre scores 39/100 (grade F) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — an opaque or largely undisclosed cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via in person, email, phone.

Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade F

Pure Barre studio memberships are individually owned and operated, so cancellations must be handled at the local studio level — there is no centralized self-serve online cancellation for in-studio memberships. Members are directed to contact their local studio (in person, by written notice, or by phone) and to refer to their state-specific membership agreement addendum; a refund request requires written notice at least 30 days in advance. The digital streaming subscription (Xponential+/GO) can be cancelled online via the account portal, through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or at the studio if signed up there; no refunds or credits are provided for partial billing periods on the streaming service.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
