Consumers cancel online via the MyProximus portal ('Cancel your subscription' at the bottom of the My Products page), by phone (0800 55 500), chat, or in a Proximus shop. Under Art. 16.1 of the January 2025 GTC, customers may terminate an indefinite-duration contract in writing at any time without stating a reason, effective on the date they choose — no mandatory notice period applies to the customer. Proximus refunds any prepaid amounts that are no longer due after termination (Art. 16.2), but customers who received subsidised equipment under a joint offer must pay the residual device value per the amortisation table. Belgium has no mandatory one-click cancel button equivalent to Germany's §312k, so online cancellation requires logging in and navigating to the My Products page.
