How hard is it to cancel Podia?
Podia scores 82/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Podia subscriptions can be cancelled entirely online via the Admin dashboard under Billing — select the plan and click 'Cancel Plan'. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no advance notice period required. Refunds are available only if requested within 72 hours of the most recent renewal or upgrade charge; Podia does not issue pro-rated refunds. Pausing is not available; cancelling unpublishes the site immediately and data is retained for 180 days before becoming permanently inaccessible.

- Account/data deletion: Deleting the account (separate from cancelling the plan) is done via Billing settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all site content, sales, products, and customer information are removed with no recovery. Cancelling a plan (without deleting) retains data for 180 days before it becomes unrecoverable. https://help.podia.com/en/articles/11371130-deleting-your-podia-account

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
