Pocket Premium could be cancelled online via the Manage Subscription page (getpocket.com/premium/manage), through the iOS App Store, or Google Play, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation took effect at the end of the current paid billing period, after which the account reverted to the free tier. Refunds were not available for App Store or Google Play purchases; for direct website purchases, a prorated refund was possible at Pocket's sole discretion upon contacting support. No pause or freeze option existed. Mozilla shut down Pocket on July 8, 2025.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
