How hard is it to cancel Plume?
Plume scores 70/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email.
Members cancel online via the billing portal (getplume.info/PlumeBillingPortal) by clicking "Cancel Subscription"; those within 30 days of their first appointment must instead contact support via Spruce or email [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle with no advance notice required. Refunds are not offered unless requested within 24 hours of payment processing; exceptions for semi-annual and annual plans allow partial refunds at $75/month (semi-annual) or $63/month (annual) for unused months, but only for qualifying reasons such as medical necessity, medication unavailability, or state legislative barriers to care. No pause or freeze option is documented.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
