How hard is it to cancel Photo AI?
Photo AI scores 76/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the SG — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app.
Photo AI is a recurring monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription billed through Stripe. Cancellation is genuinely self-serve and unusually easy to find: a dedicated FAQ article gives exact in-app steps (logo → Billing → Cancel subscription), users can alternatively cancel via the Stripe billing portal at photoai.com/billing, and iOS subscribers cancel through Apple. Cancelling can be done at any time and simply stops the next renewal — there is no proration or refund for the remaining paid period. Refunds are effectively unavailable once the product is used: eligibility is limited to accounts that have created no model, generated fewer than 20 lifetime photos and did not sign up via a referral link, and the Terms state all fees are non-refundable and waive the EU 14-day withdrawal right (citing immediate, high-cost AI generation). The clear, multi-channel, self-serve exit is the strong point; the absolute no-refund stance and an undocumented deletion process are the weak ones.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
