How hard is it to cancel Perplexity?
Perplexity scores 83/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app.
Web subscribers cancel self-serve: perplexity.ai > profile/Settings > Subscription (Manage Subscription) > Cancel subscription, then confirm on the next page (also reachable at perplexity.ai/account/details). Cancellation stops auto-renewal but Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, and account/search history is retained for later reactivation. Subscriptions auto-renew, so you must cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Per the Terms of Service, payments are nonrefundable and there are no credits for partially used periods. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel via that platform's subscription settings, not Perplexity's website. Support is also reachable at [email protected].

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
