How hard is it to cancel Orange Romania?

Orange Romania scores 53/100 (grade D) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the RO — a poorly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via phone, in person, postal mail, in-app, email.

Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade D

Customers cancel by calling 300, visiting an Orange store or partner retailer, submitting a written request by post, or via the My Orange app (Contact & Feedback section) — no fully self-serve online cancel exists. A 30-calendar-day notice period applies from the date the request is registered, during which the subscription remains billed. If still within the minimum contract period, early termination charges apply: remaining device installments plus any promotional discounts received must be repaid (typically ~50% of remaining monthly fees × remaining months); customers on standard-price plans with no discounts owe nothing extra. No refund or proration is offered for the 30-day notice period.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
