Opal subscription cancellation depends on the purchase channel: iOS subscribers cancel through Apple's App Store subscription settings, Android subscribers cancel via Google Play, and web/Mac subscribers cancel through their Stripe dashboard. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Refunds are available within 30 days for Stripe/web purchases by contacting Opal Support; App Store and Play Store refunds are handled directly by Apple and Google respectively. Users must cancel more than 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged for the next billing period.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
