How hard is it to cancel Omiai?

Omiai scores 78/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the JP, a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app.

Last reviewed 2026-06-16 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Omiai (Net Marketing, Japan) requires paid members to stop auto-renewal, with the path depending on payment method: Apple ID purchases are cancelled in iOS Settings > Subscriptions, while credit-card purchases are stopped via the in-app auto-renewal-stop flow. Auto-renewal must be stopped at least 24 hours before the plan's expiry date. Stopping auto-renewal does not immediately revoke access; the paid plan runs to expiry and then reverts to free membership. The help center warns that withdrawing without stopping auto-renewal leaves charges running. No documented partial-period refund or pause option.

How to cancel Omiai

  • Channels: online (self-serve), in-app
  • Official cancellation page: https://support.omiai-jp.com/hc/ja/articles/6145298565273
  • Pause/freeze: not offered. Omiai documents no pause or freeze; the paid plan continues until expiry once auto-renewal is stopped, then reverts to free membership.
  • Account/data deletion: Paid members must stop auto-renewal first and wait for the paid period to expire before they can withdraw from Omiai; withdrawal alone does not stop paid billing. https://support.omiai-jp.com/hc/ja/articles/6145298565273

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
