Sync and Publish subscriptions are managed self-serve in your Obsidian account under Billing -> Invoices and refunds. Full no-questions-asked refunds are available within 7 days of purchase by clicking 'Get refund' next to an eligible purchase; Catalyst, Commercial licenses, and Obsidian Credit are non-refundable. Cancelling/letting a subscription lapse keeps remote vault data (incl. version history) for one month before deletion; local vaults are never affected. Requesting a refund deletes remote vaults/publish sites immediately and irreversibly. Refunds beyond 7 days require contacting support. Subscriptions purchased via the iOS App Store or Google Play must be cancelled through Apple/Google, not within the Obsidian app.

Pause/freeze: not offered. No pause or freeze option is documented. Subscriptions are cancelled (auto-renew turned off) and run until the end of the paid period; remote vault data is retained for one month after the subscription expires, so renewing within that window avoids data loss.

Account/data deletion: Refunding Sync or Publish triggers immediate deletion of remote vaults and publish sites from Obsidian servers (unrecoverable even if you resubscribe). On normal expiry, remote vault data including version history is kept for one month, then deleted. Local vault files on your devices are never affected.
