Last reviewed 2026-08-11 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Re-graded 2026-08-08 from the dedicated Pausing + Cancelling help page after two records disagreed by 7 points; both sat in the same band, so the spread was scoring noise. The control is named and self-serve: select Cancel Subscription within My Account. Two scenarios are covered separately, which is unusually thorough for a rental subscription: cancelling without a Nuuly at home is immediate, while cancelling with items at home requires returning any unpurchased items before your billing date. A genuine pause option exists alongside cancellation and its billing behaviour is disclosed: if you unpause early your billing date moves to the day you unpause and the payment method on file is charged immediately. Refund terms are thinner, covered only by the note that the subscription fee would have been charged as usual in the relevant scenario.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
