NOS Portugal subscribers cancel by phone (931 699 000 or 16990, select 'Desativação'), at any NOS store in person, by post to Apartado 52111, EC Campo Grande, 1721-501 Lisboa, or by submitting a written cessation form via cliente.nos.pt. Under Portuguese law (Lei 16/2022 and ANACOM regulation), consumers may also use the official government Plataforma de Cessação de Contratos (cessacaodecontratos.pt) to submit termination requests. The effective notice rule requires submission at least 10 days before the billing period end to avoid being charged for an additional month; the maximum notice period operators can require is 1 month under ANACOM rules. Early termination during a loyalty/commitment period incurs a penalty that varies by offer and remaining months, checkable in the MyNOS app. Refund or proration terms are not explicitly disclosed; customers receive a final bill covering the period up to service deactivation. Equipment must be returned within 30 days post-deactivation or an indemnification fee applies.
